One of the names that would require a great financial effort on the Friedkin’s part is that of Samu Omorodion.
The Spanish striker is one of the more highly valued players on Atletico Madrid’s roster and snatching him from the clutches of Diego Simeone will be far from easy.
Having been linked with several European clubs, Omorodion is said to still be on Roma’s radar.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Daniele De Rossi is crazy about him and has put him at the top of the wish list, as expensive as he is: the margins for improvement of the Spaniard of Nigerian origins are enormous.
And Roma could build a good team around him. This is why, writes the newspaper, Roma is willing to make an economic effort for the attacker who in De Rossi’s eyes is like a younger version of Romelu Lukaku.
