Roma boss Daniele De Rossi was asked about the team’s achievement of securing four consecutive clean sheets for the first time since 2017.
The Italian technician addressed the team’s defensive solidity in his post-match presser following Roma’s 0-1 victory over Milan at San Siro.
“Defensive solidity is set into motion by various things done right, starting from allowing the opponent to have less control over the ball.”
“Tonight we were laser focused and that also contributes to a good defense. It takes time to test concepts. At the Coverciano course they tell us that you can’t think of not conceding goals; all you can do is choose how to concede goals.”
“It takes time to assimilate ideas, but in my opinion we are doing well and growing stronger. I told the team that I won’t accept a change in attitude after the Derby. Attitude comes first, it must be maintained regardless of whether we play well or badly.”
