Roma manager Daniele De Rossi spoke to DAZN a few minutes prior to kick-off to Roma-Bologna at Stadio Olimpico.

Among other things, De Rossi discussed his decision to start Tammy Abraham in place of injured Romelu Lukaku.

“The important thing is to have enthusiasm and he has it. The injury made him frustrated and he has this edge that he brings to the pitch.”

“He must concentrate on playing, without wasting his energy on things not related to the pitch. I have great faith in him, after such a long absence he might have ups and downs but we have faith in him.”

“El Shaarawy? He’s spent a lot of energy but he is playing at a very high level. He’s doing very well physically and deserves to be confirmed as our main option on the wing. If he becomes tired we will have other options off the bench.”
