Roma legend Daniele De Rossi is among the top candidates for Palermo’s head coaching position.
The former Giallorossi captain recently completed the UEFA coaching license and is hoping to get his first start as a manager in Serie B.
Il Tempo reports that De Rossi’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, was recently in Manchester to discuss the particulars of an eventual deal with City Football Group.
A decision is expected to be made within the next 10 days. In the meantime, Claudio Ranieri’s chances for the job have decreased over the last few days.
