Daniele De Rossi is being with a return to his boyhood club after Roma decided to sack Jose Mourinho earlier in the morning.
The legendary Giallorossi captain is currently the favorite to replace Jose Mourinho as the first team’s head coach, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
Roma are set to hold a final meeting with De Rossi later today to finalize his managerial takeover.
Together with him, on his staff, there will be former footballers Guillermo Giacomazzi and Giampiero Pinzi; Another collaborator, Mancini, will also be present.
It should be an agreement until the end of the season with renewal linked to the achievement of certain results.
This will be De Rossi’s second coaching job after a short-lived spell at SPAL in Serie B.
