Despite being only six games into his interim spell as Roma’s new head coach, Daniele De Rossi is said to have already impressed the club’s American owners.
Following the Giallorossi’s most recent success against Frosinone, De Rossi once more showcased a clear-headed approach to a bad start by the team and the necessary tactical self-awareness that led him to amend Roma’s line-up, eventually beating Frosinone with ease.
According to today’s edition of Leggo, President Dan Friedkin has been positively surprised by De Rossi’s ability to interpret the difficult moment Roma were in at the time of his appointment and his pragmatic approach to the situation, without the need of external stimuli.
De Rossi seems to know how much is at stake for the remainder of the season.
The same newspaper suggests that the Friedkins are currently evaluating the possibility of making De Rossi their long-term coach after the expiry of his current six-month deal.
