Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini has reportedly become a concrete target for Roma who are seeking an additional shot-stopper for next season.

With Rui Patricio set to leave the club in free agency and Mile Svilar having won a starting place in Roma’s XI, the Giallorossi want to add a low-cost back-up choice in the summer.

As a result, Roma boss Daniele De Rossi is said to have suggested to the club the profile of Gollini – the 29-year-old keeper is currently on loan at Napoli but the Partenopei seem unlikely to activate the buy option in his deal.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, De Rossi thinks Gollini is a good fit for the squad and would easily slot in behind Svilar this coming summer.
