Roma legend Daniele De Rossi is leading the race for Palermo’s coaching position.
According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, De Rossi was recently present at Manchester City’s training grounds to oversee Pep Guardiola’s coaching methods.
Now, the former Roma captain is the favorite to coach Palermo – owned by City Football Group – in their first year back in Serie B.
De Rossi recently quit as Roberto Mancini’s technical assistant with Italy.
