Roma continue to be interested in Cagliari midfielder Matteo Prati.

The capital club are reportedly working on a specific request made by Daniele De Rossi to acquire the young midfielder from the Sardinian side.

De Rossi is a big admirer of Prati, having watched him grow since their time together SPAL in Serie B.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma want to satisfy De Rossi’s demands and are lining up an offer for Prati.

The player’s profile fits Roma’s new line of sustainable transfer targets as he represents a solid alternative off the bench with great potential for the future.

Prati’s price tag is also within range of Roma’s financial means.
