Roma legend Daniele De Rossi – currently serving as SPAL’s manager in Serie B – spoke after his side’s scoreless draw with Ternana earlier this afternoon, and discussed the upcoming Derby della Capitale between Roma and Lazio.
“I will be watching the game with my family. With the stadium located less than a mile away from my place, I will be aware that something big’s happening,” he told Sky Sport.
“But, I cannot make any judgements or opinions about Roma now. Right now, I’m an outsider, and I think it’s only right for me to keep safe distance from Roma out of respect for who’s paying me, my players and the supporters of SPAL.”
“I will not make any predictions or comments about the derby. Roma have Mourinho who knows what to do.”
