Roma manager Daniele De Rossi shared an update on Romelu Lukaku’s injury ahead of the match with Bologna.

The Italian technician was forced to take Lukaku off after less than thirty minutes into the first half of Roma’s win over Milan.

The striker was replaced by Tammy Abraham.

In his post-match presser, De Rossi remarked, “Lukaku stopped in time. I don’t know if Romelu will be able to play against Bologna, we will have to evaluate the situation and consider our options.”

“We have to be careful with Abraham because the risk of getting re-injured after sitting on the sidelines for 10 months is very high, just look what happened to Smalling after the match with Brighton.”

“Bologna are the worst opponent to face right now, they run a lot, are in complete sync with each other. It will be another great test to try to beat them.”
