Daniele De Rossi is looking for ways to get his team up and running after an underwhelming start to the season
From today De Rossi will finally be able to count on a new starting central defender.
As reported by Tuttosport, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has reached an agreement with Lens for the arrival of the Austrian Kevin Danso, a profile with great international experience and above all one of the most attractive players in Europe in his role (he will cost 25 million).
With Danso on the team, De Rossi can thus think about various options to set up a successful defensive backline.
According to the newspaper, De Rossi is tempted to revert to a three-man defence, but last year’s precedents are not encouraging and furthermore he does not currently have such a large battery of centre-backs.
However, it would not be too hard to imagine Danso starting alongside Gianluca Mancini and Evan Ndicka to provide the team with more defensive stability.
