Roma boss Daniele De Rossi discussed the Derby della Capitale a few minutes prior to kick-off.
In his pre-match interview with DAZN, De Rossi commented on the importance of tonight’s clash with Lazio as the Giallorossi continue to be engaged in a tight Champions League race.
“The Derby is one of those games that gives you all the motivation you need,” said De Rossi. “Lazio will be ready for battle, they have very high caliber players and we must remain balanced.”
“Dybala? He’s OK, he even played a bit against Lecce, although it wasn’t possible to make him play more than he did, we didn’t want to take risks and he will play a great match, I’m sure of it.”
“This is one of the most beautiful games in the world and I consider myself lucky I got to experience this derby and the one in Argentina with Boca.”
