Greek journalist Dimitris Vergos of gazzetta.gr has reported that Daniele Verde is joining AEK Athens. The 23 year-old has been heavily linked with a permanent move to the Greek side throughout the summer but is just now ready to finalise the transfer. Verde, who spent last season on loan at Real Valladolid, joined Roma’s youth set-up in 2010 but managed only the handful of appearances with the first team. The winger will undergo his medical on Thursday in a move that’s expected to be worth around €1 million.
