Davide Frattesi doesn’t hold grudges against Roma after failed transfer

Roma target Davide Frattesi declared he doesn’t hold grudges following the failed transfer to the capital in the summer of 2022.

In a recent interview with DAZN, the Sassuolo midfielder – who has been heavily linked with various clubs all over Europe – discussed his future in relation to last summer’s disappointment after Roma backed away from a deal for him.

“Now I don’t give a damn anymore,” said Frattesi. “I don’t read the news and I don’t follow the rumors.”

“Every club makes decisions based on their needs. I don’t hold grudges against anyone. I take everything as a stimulus: if last year no one signed me, didn’t believe in me, it’s because maybe I wasn’t ready. This year I want to show the world that I am ready.”
