Davide Frattesi remains cryptic when asked about Lazio and Roma past: “I liked both.”

Former Roma man Davide Frattesi discussed his complicated past between the Giallorossi and Lazio.

Frattesi – who grew up in Lazio’s academy before going over to Roma’s – shared insights into his years in the Primavera as well as the players he models himself after.

In an interview with La Repubblica, Frattesi remained cryptic about his past.

“I’m not going to tell who I rooted for,” said the Italian midfielder. “I had a really good experience at both clubs and liked my time in each one.”

“I was and still am super competitive. I encouraged my teammates to be competitive too,” he continued. “I learned that in relationships with friends and women, wanting to win doesn’t help, on the contrary.”

“The important thing is to understand each other, not to be right. It wasn’t It’s easy to come to this awareness.”

“My idols? Technically I wanted to be like Marchisio but in terms of character and personality I looked up to De Rossi,” he added.
