Daniele De Rossi has made it clear that he wishes for Roma to keep Evan Ndicka and make him a key part of their long-term project.

Ndicka will not leave the capital this summer despite drawing interest ahead of the transfer window.

Daniele De Rossi has been clear in that Roma will not listen to offers for the Ivorian centre-back – according to Sky Sport. The player is deemed untouchable.

Arriving on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt, after a decidedly turbulent initial period of settling in, Evan became the cornerstone of the Giallorossi defence.

The victory in the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast certainly helped him, especially from a mental point of view, and since returning in the match against Feyenoord he has always been one of the team’s best.

DDR wants to build next year’s Roma around him and Gianluca Mancini.
