RomaPress – Former Roma captain Daniele De Rossi spoke to the media this evening before attending the ninth edition of the Premio Calabrese.

This annual award is meant to recognise presidents, directors, and managers throughout Serie A and Serie B as a recognition of their careers.

“Am i predestined to be the manager of Roma? Many names have been linked to the club that ultimately didn’t arrive. First of all, I have to get my coaching license, then we’ll see,” said De Rossi.

“Advice for Friedkin? I don’t know, I don’t feel like giving a particular piece of advice. From the few words I’ve read, I think it’s good to keep everyone grounded”.

“It is a mistake to make promises that cannot be kept in place like Rome. It’s better to start quietly and surprise everyone later”.
