De Rossi leaving Boca Juniors, set to retire from football


Despite having a contract with the club until June, Daniele De Rossi is leaving Argentine club Boca Juniors and is set to retire as a football, Sky Sport reports.

The former Roma captain has decided to hang up his boots at the age of 36 years old — more clarity is expected surrounding his future in the coming days. The former Giallorossi midfielder and captain has been heavily linked with a potential return to Trigoria in a managerial capacity. De Rossi has made it no secret that he has managerial aspirations following his days as a player.
