Special day at the Fulvio Bernardini Sports Center: Trigoria’s guest was Francesco Rocca, known as Kawasaki.
The Roma legend who played for the capital club between 1972 and 1981 was one of the most talented full-backs in Italian football.
Rocca was inducted into Roma’s Hall of Fame.
Today, the legendary defender attended the team’s training session and was presented by De Rossi to the team.
“I present to you a legend of Roma. Many of you don’t know him: Francesco Rocca, player, coach, legend,” said De Rossi to his men.
“He’s a living example of how you should carry yourselves. He was my coach growing up, and he kicked me out a couple of times!”
Rocca replied by saying, “It’s always nice to be back. Good luck to everyone for next season. Thanks to Daniele for the kind words.”
