Il Tempo have reported that Sassuolo manager Roberto De Zerbi is now a potential candidate for the bench of Roma following the “no” of Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini. De Zerbi, who has a contract with Sassuolo until 2020, has, reportedly, already been contacted by Franco Baldini, the trusted adviser of James Pallotta. Baldini appreciates De Zerbi’s style of play but the hypothesis of a foreign manager cannot be ruled out while the likes of Giampaolo and Blanc do not convince the Giallorossi.
