Following the additions of Rui Patricio and Matías Viña, Roma are set to welcome another reinforcement to the club.
Sky Sport reports that Roma and Arsenal are finalising the last details for the transfer of midfielder Granit Xhaka to the Italian capital.
The two clubs made significant progress over the previous two days after the Gunners officially acquired Belgian midfielder Albert Lokonga, whose addition paved the way for Xhaka to leave the Londoners.
The Swiss international is expected to touch down in the Italian capital next week to undergo his medical examinations and sign his contract with Roma.
He will then fly to Portugal to join his new teammates for the second portion of the Giallorossi’s summer retreat.
