Roma centreback Dean Huijsen continues to impress as one of the brightest talents in Europe.

The Dutch defender – who completed a temporary move to Roma in January from Juventus – was once again in the spotlight this evening as he started for De Rossi in Roma’s 3-0 win over Frosinone.

Huijsen’s wonderful long-distance shot helped give Roma the lead near the end of the first half.

This was Huijsen’s second goal in Serie A – according to OptaPaolo, he is one of only two defenders, along with Leny Yoro of Lille, born after 2005 with at least two goals scored in the top five European championships in 2023/24.
