The future of Dean Huijsen is yet to be written as the 18-year-old defender continues to stun in his loan spell with Roma.

Following his decision to join the Giallorossi on a temporary deal from Juventus and an impressive display in the first three months in the Italian capital, Huijsen has been frequently linked with either a return to Juve at the end of the season or a move abroad with destinations in Germany and England awaiting him.

According to Italian journalist Augusto Ciardi for LaRoma24.it, Juventus are counting on Huijsen as a future option.

However, the immediate future could hold varying shades for the Dutchman who recently committed himself to representing Spain on a national level.

Ciardi reports that Juve will only consider top offers from abroad with Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Man United and Newcastle having already manifested interest in the young centreback.

If Juve’s demands were not to be satisfied this summer, the Bianconeri could choose to agree to a loan extension with Roma until 2025 – an option that Roma would like very much.
