Dean Huijsen expected to return to Juventus

Andy Mattioli

Dean Huijsen will return to his parent club, Juventus, at the end of the season.

Despite making visible progress and impressing everyone at Roma, the 18-year-old centreback will not be extending his stay in the Italian capital.

As stated in today’s report by, Roma will be unable to further extend Huijsen’s loan from Juve – the Bianconeri are determined to bring him back and include him as part of their roster ahead of next season.

Otherwise, the news portal also suggests that Huijsen may be used in a deal for Atalanta’s Koopmeiners.

As a result of this decision from Juve, Roma have began looking for valid replacements and thus seeking additional defensive reinforcements; the Giallorossi will lose Huijsen and, in all likelihood, Chris Smalling who is expected to be sold after a disappointing campaign made of several injury-related absences.
