Defrel arrives at Sassuolo’s headquarters to finalise return

Gregorie Defrel arrived at Sassuolo’s official offices in Milano early this evening to complete his move back to the Neroverdi, reports Sky Sport. The Frenchman will rejoin Roberto De Zerbi’s side after having accepted a move to Roma in the summer of 2017 for a fee of €20 million. Defrel departs Roma having score only 1 goal – though, his form did drastically improve while on loan at Sampdoria this past season. The operation between the two clubs will be on the basis of a loan with an obligation to buy for a rumored fee of €16 million.
