It’s been a busy day in the home of Sampdoria. Current president Massimo Ferrero signed a letter of intent to sell the Blucerchiati to a consortium that includes former Juve and Samp striker Gianluca Vialli. But Eusebio Di Francesco’s side is also busy on the transfer market: the return of Gregoire Defrel to the club is becoming increasingly concrete. The player gave his OK to the transfer as Sampdoria are ready to comply with Roma’s request: a loan with an obligation to buy for €15 million. The only thing missing is Vialli’s group giving the green light to the operation, which appears to be only a formality, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
