Delays for Ibañez: defender won’t arrive tomorrow in the capital

RomaPress – The deal is closed, but we will have to wait a bit longer for it to be official.

Roma and Atalanta agreed to a €10 million deal for Brazilian defender Roger Ibañez last week. Within the last 24 hours, the Giallorossi finalised the last pieces of the operation with Frederico Morães, the agent of the player.

It was initially believed that Ibañez would arrive in the Italian capital tomorrow morning to complete his move to the Giallorossi. However, the player’s agent has confirmed to RomaPress that no flight has been scheduled yet and that the medical examinations and signing of the contract will likely occur on Thursday.
