RomaPress – The future of Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara has come under question over the past 48 hours.
The Guinean’s agent, Daniele Piraino, caused a stir yesterday after giving an interview to Tuttomercatoweb, where he called into question his client’s importance to Roma’s project.
His words seemed to increase the possibility of the former Napoli man departing the Italian capital after only one season.
Despite his agent’s statements yesterday, a member of Diawara’s entourage told RomaPress that they believe the midfielder will remain the Italian capital and is unlikely to leave Roma during this transfer window.
The Giallorossi don’t want to lose Diawara and still consider him a key piece to Paulo Fonseca’s set-up.
