Despite rumors, still no meeting between Roma and Bove for contract renewal

John Solano

RomaPress – One of Roma’s priorities this summer is to tie-down young midfielder Edoardo Bove to a new long term contract.

The 21 year-old was one of the biggest surprises last season for the Giallorossi and took on an increased role within the team. His current deal expires in June 2025 but both parties have expressed their desire to continue together while Roma are prepared to hand him drastically increased wages.

Despite rumors that emerged today, a member of the midfielder’s entourage informed RomaPress they haven’t rejected any proposals from the Giallorossi since the two sides still haven’t met regarding a new contract.

The midfielder and his representatives aren’t in any rush but insisted any reports stating they rejected a contract proposal from Roma are false.
