RomaPress – Entering the final days of the transfer market, Amadou Diawara’s club future remains shrouded in mystery.
Even though the midfielder has been on national team duty this month, his representatives have been hard at work trying to resolve his situation.
In fact, Diawara’s agent, Daniele Piraino, met with Roma executive Tiago Pinto in Milano late this afternoon. Following the meeting, whispers emerged that Sampdoria, Torino, and Cagliari are pushing to acquire the Guinean international on loan.
However, multiple members of the midfielder’s entourage rejected these rumors and reiterated that Diawara hasn’t refused any offer.
Several clubs expressed interest in Diawara throughout the month, but Roma never received any official offers for the ex-Bologna man.
As a result, it’s appearing increasingly likely that he will likely remain with Roma at least until the summer. Diawara has played sparingly this season but he has no problem remaining in the Italian capital.
