Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco spoke today ahead of the Giallorossi’s clash tomorrow against Torino. These are his words:

Will it be an opportunity to see Schick from the start?
He will start due to Dzeko’s suspension and Defrel being injured, though, we hope he can recover for Shakhtar. Defrel will not even be called up for the match against Torino. Patrik is the only striker available, he will play from the start.

How has Torino changed?
They have not changed their system of play a lot, they use both a 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1. Mazzarri is much more attentive to the defensive phase, Torino with Mihajlovic was more aggressive. Walter is a friend, I grew up with him. I have no good memories facing him, I hope I can dispel them tomorrow.

What significance does Juventus have for Italian football? Could their performance motivate you against Shakhtar?
We must remember that tomorrow we have a very important match, we must not make mistakes. I hear too much talk about Shakhtar. Juventus showed mentality, they are hard to kill-off, their resilience is extraordinary. I hope this mentality will spread throughout Italian football, starting with my team.

How is De Rossi? Both physically and emotionally.
Emotionally he was very down. He was very close to Astori. From the physical point of view, he is completely ready and can play from the start. I’m not thinking about Shakhtar, I assure you. He is OK physically.

Has something clicked after beating Napoli?
Nothing has happened, it’s just a starting point. We lacked continuity, tomorrow I expect a response as I’m not content, I’m not satisfied after beating Napoli, I was angry after the second goal we conceded.

El Shaarawy?
El Shaarawy is one of those who has had a particular period. He is training well, he can play a part tomorrow and could start.

Pellegrini?
He recovered, yesterday he trained with the team and will be available.
