Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco and defender Juan Jesus spoke before their match tomorrow against Qarabag. Here are their words:

DI FRANCESCO

Does this turnover mean that there are no hierarchies or are there?
Obviously there are players who have quality and great experience compared to others, there is a need for everyone to play, I want players who handle each match to their best, though, this is delicate. You have to be very respectful of Qarabag, I assure you that it will not be an easy match.

El Shaarawy?
He’s done well lately. He’s one of our starters and one of our better performances as of late.

Last year, Capello said that our clubs don’t do well in the Champions League because Serie A isn’t much of a challenge and is a step below a training session.
I do not agree with the fact that it is less than a training session, even in other leagues there are teams that cannot compete with the big clubs, there is this gap. We need to raise the pace and level and we are growing. I do not think that’s why we struggle in the Champions League.

Dzeko and Kolarov have played the most. Are you going to let them rest if the match will allow that?
Every single match is insidious. We have a technical level higher than them, but we have to set forth certain characteristics on the pitch by being determined and nasty, otherwise, all the matches become difficult. The two you mentioned will play from the start.

JUAN JESUS

Is there the risk of underestimating the opponent?
We look at all the matches and know tomorrow will be a tough match. They are coming from a negative result and want to prove that the result against Chelsea was wrong. We must prove that we are here to win and demonstrate our worth.

You played against two Azerbaijani teams, what do you remember?
Against Qarabag at San Siro was difficult, they scored quickly and we lost. I hope the match is different.
