Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco touched on a variety of subjects today when interviewed by Sky Sport, here is an excerpt of his words:

“Nainggolan is a strong player and we want to keep a tight hold on him. This is in my mind and the club’s so we will definitely have him for the summer tour of the United States. He has very important quality, he knows how to disrupt the opposition and attack. These are qualities a mezz’ala must have.”

“Pallotta has asked me for enthusiasm and the desire to be competitive in all competitions, trying to annoy Juve in Serie A and improve in other competitions. We will try to do something more after last season, which was great.”

He continued, “The goal is to win as many matches as possible. We still need an alternative to Dzeko, two offensive wingers, a left back, and a central defender. We’re fine in midfield.”

“Strootman’s Instagram post? I think Salah was unhelpful in making the comment (about Nainggolan) because he (Salah) is one of those who wanted to go to the Premier League.”
