Di Francesco pleased with Barca victory

John Solano

Eusebio Di Francesco following Roma’s 4-2 friendly victory over Barcelona. These are his words:

“I’m happy about the performance. I think we can still improve in some tactical choices, but we must continue to work.”

What did you think of the stadium?
The pitch could have been better, but the stadium is spectacular and impressive. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

How do you repeat the season you had?
It’s difficult but we must renew ourselves and have the ambition. We have to let the young players settle in, there is no magic.

Will Roma sign another player? Would one leave if someone arrives?
Our sporting director is very tired but active on the market. I don’t want to have too many players in the squad. I don’t want to have 30 players in the team. I want every player to have the chance to play and show their worth.
