Ansa have reported that Sampdoria are waiting until the weekend for an answer from ex-Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco. The 49 year-old has emerged as the favorite to take over the Blucerchiati but is taking time to reflect. The club have Stefano Pioli in-hand as their Plan B should they receive a “no”. On Sunday, during a meeting with Samp president Massimo Ferrero, Di Francesco asked for certain technical guarantees related to the project. Furthermore, he also requested a two-year contract worth €2 million per season.
