Il Corriere dello Sport have reported that Sassuolo manager Eusebio Di Francesco has already started trying to dissolve his contract with Sassuolo.
The question, though, is economic. Sassuolo president Squinzi was, reportedly, taken by surprise and was shocked by Di Francesco’s insistence on quitting the club. Sassuolo want the manager to pay his release clause of €3 million.
Di Francesco still has two years left on his contract, but he has important offers in both Italy and abroad, however, he has chosen Roma. Even Monaco and Sevilla were interested in him. It will take a few days to resolve the situation, but the road is already paved to Roma. Sassuolo is already looking for a new manager, with Oddo and De Zerbi being two options.
