Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco spoke after his side’s 1-1 friendly draw against Avellino. These are his words:
He arrived back here in good condition but I won’t want to make hasty judgements as some players arrive in better shape than others. I’m more interested in seeing a team concept being applied on the pitch. I had to change formations after some of the injuries from yesterday, which I didn’t like having to do — so I can’t blame the players.
What did you think of Karsdorp and Kluivert on the right?
Well, Kluviert has yet to master all of the movements but he did well in attacking the depth, he has to be more polished in his one against one, but overall it was a good test.
Alisson has left, perhaps now Olsen and Malcom will arrive?
I’m not talking about players who are not in our roster, Monchi talks about the market a lot, he takes care of it himself. A salute to Alisson, we hope to beat him in the Champions League, as we said today when we said our goodbye to him.
