Di Francesco speaks before Milan-Roma

Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco held his usual pre match press conference today before the clash against Milan. Here are his words:

How has the team been in these latest weeks?
Many things have improved, I’m happy with the team’s growth, the results have arrived, but we have to improve in some aspects such staying closer in both phases.

Montella?
He is like a brother to me, our relationship was born in Empoli, we grew up together in tough times. In football, there are often not many friends, but I have so many and Montella is one of the them.

What memory do you have of that Scudetto?
We were roommates, he was very clear and ironic and he’s kept this quality as a manager.

What is his best quality?
This great ability to interact. He is good at exploiting the qualities of his players while keeping his playing philosophy, which is to always play and give opponents trouble.

Ünder is ready for a match like the one in Milan?
Certainly, he has also started to speak Italian, which is a very important aspect. He had many difficulties at first but he can speak the language of football. You try to give younger players little responsibility, I will decide tomorrow who plays.
