Newly appointed Cagliari manager, Eusebio Di Francesco, is looking for reinforcements this summer and could reunite with Roma defender Juan Jesus.
L’unione Sarda reports the Brazilian, who is a near certainty to leave Roma this summer, is being eyed by Di Francesco to help improve the Isolani’s defence.
Having worked under Di Francesco for nearly two years, the former Inter man would welcome a reunion with his former boss, who was sacked by Roma in March 2019.
The biggest obstacle for a move for the player, though, are his incredibly large wages. Juan Jesus currently earns €2.5 million per season in the Italian capital. His contract expires in June 2021.
