Luigi Di Maio, a member of Movimento Cinque Stelle (M5S), wrote a post on his Facebook page regarding the Stadio della Roma after the agreement was reached for the stadium:
“The Stadio della Roma will be built but with half of the cubic meters of concrete of the original project. The three skyscrapers are gone, but they will build a new railway station and will achieve all of this with the most innovative energy technology in the world. Tonight the agreement was reached with AS Roma and can be defined as ‘a new beginning’ as President Pallotta said.”
