Diawara and Villar expected to start vs CSKA Sofia

Tonight’s final group-stage game vs CSKA Sofia in the Conference League will see Jose Mourinho rest a few players.

Rui Patricio, Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were left in the capital to rest.

According to Corriere dello Sport, The Special One will implement a few new additions to the starting line-up including young shot-stopper Fuzato making his official season debut.

Changes are also expected in the midfield where Veretout is likely to rest on the bench with Amadou Diawara slotting in.

Gonzalo Villar, after winning his battle with COVID earlier in the week, is ready to play from the start alongside Bryan Cristante.

Despite earlier rumors of a potential start for Borja Mayoral, Mourinho is expected to rely on Abraham and Zaniolo up front from the get go.
