Diawara considering surgery on meniscus

Amadou Diawara was ready to return from his torn meniscus injury before the Coronavirus outbreak halted football around the world. The former Bologna man, who had been out since January due to the injury, did not undergo an operation and instead opted to follow a conservative physical therapy program.

The results of the therapy were successful – the Guinean even made it back on the pitch with Alberto De Rossi’s Primavera side for 60 minutes.

However, with the remainder of the Serie A campaign being in question, Diawara is considering undergoing the operation to repair the damaged muscle, reports La Repubblica.
