Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara is one of the players who do not fit Mourinho’s plans. The capital club made it clear to the 24-year-old earlier in the summer, but a solution to his situation was not found in time.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, this may soon change as the January transfer window presents a variety of new opportunities.
Biafora reports that French giants Olympique de Marseille have expressed interested in Diawara as they’re testing the waters to bring in an additional midfield player in winter.
Moreover, German side Eintracht Frankfurt have also contacted the player’s entourage earlier in the summer and further contacts are not to be excluded in the coming weeks.
