Diawara reacts after Wolfsberger draw: “Not a great game, but we advanced”.

Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara appeared on Roma TV following the Giallorossi’s 2-2 draw against Wolfsberger. Despite only earning a draw, Roma still managed to finish second in the group and qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.

Surely there’s some bitterness for having finished second.
It wasn’t a great game, but I’m happy we advanced – that’s what was important.

There seemed to be a lack of intensity.
Sometimes it happens due to fatigue and other things. Now we’ll get motivated for Sunday.

How are you? You are improving.
Yes I’m improving in training and the manager is lending me a big hand. I’m happy with what I’m doing.
