The return of Amadou Diawara from his lateral meniscus injury is getting closer.
Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo has reported that the Guinean midfielder had a follow-up consultation with orthopedic surgerion Prof. Giuliano Cerulli on Sunday. Diawara was given the thumbs up to return to full training with the group — a little less than one month after he suffered the injury.
The Giallorossi have struggled without the former Bologna man, who has become one of the most important pieces of Paulo Fonseca’s 4-2-3-1 set-up.
