After having been out for the the past 45 days due to a meniscus injury, Amadou Diawara is returning to the pitch this afternoon.
The former Bologna midfielder is taking the pitch today with Roma’s Primavera side, who are managed by Alberto De Rossi. The Giallorossi’s youth side will face Inter’s at 13.00 in the Italian capital at Tre Fontane stadium.
Should things go well for Diawara, it’s likely he would be in-line to be called-up for Thursday’s Europa League clash against Sevilla.
Roma has struggled in the midfield ever since the Guinean international suffered the knee injury in January — with Bryan Cristante having replaced him in Paulo Fonseca’s preferred formation alongside Jordan Veretout.
