Diawara speaks ahead of Napoli clash

Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara labeled today’s match against Sassuolo an opportunity for his team to get back on track.

The Giallorossi are barely still in the chase for a top four place in Serie A, and the midfielder highlighted the importance of this afternoon’s affair.

“We didn’t play well in the last match,” began Diawara.

”Today’s an important match for us to display what we showed previously. The two defeats to Milan and Napoli didn’t do us well, but the season is still long. We are working to reach our objectives.”

He added, “We had a good week of preparations for the match, hopefully we can prove that.”
