Diawara to continue with physical therapy: re-evaluation in the next 7-10 days

Following his meniscus injury, Amadou Diawara will continue with a course of physical therapy and, for now, will not undergo surgery.

Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo reports that the Guinean will be re-evaluated within the next week to ten days, which is when both the player and club will make a decision on the next steps. The Giallorossi are hoping the former Bologna man can avoid going under the knife for the second time this season.

Roma are keeping their fingers crossed that Diawara will be at the disposal of Paulo Fonseca in the next few weeks.
