Diawara with another chance to start vs Bologna

The surprising decision to include Amadou Diawara in the starting eleven in the match against Torino shocked everyone, journalists and fans alike.

Diawara – whose scarce playing time so far this season has been the cause of rumors linking him with an exit from the capital club in the January transfer window – put in a good performance and was praised by The Special One himself for his ”great professionalism.”

According to Corriere dello Sport, the 24-year-old may have another chance to start in today’s midweek fixture against his former club, Bologna.

Mourinho may reportedly opt to rest Mkhitaryan ahead of the Inter showdown on Saturday and thus insert once again Diawara into the starting line-up.
